Once students have an idea, they begin turning it into a real business.
Students learn the building blocks of entrepreneurship, including branding, pricing, marketing, customer service, and business planning.

Brand It.
Students discover how successful businesses stand out.
They learn how colors, logos, messaging, photography, social media, and websites work together to create a recognizable brand.
Each student begins developing a professional identity for their business that they can confidently present to others.

Sell It.
Students learn that entrepreneurship also means knowing how to communicate.
Through interactive activities, they practice presenting their ideas, speaking with potential customers, explaining the value of their product or service, and making a confident sales pitch.

Create a Digital Presence
Today’s entrepreneurs need more than a great idea.
Students are introduced to the digital side of business and learn how entrepreneurs use websites and online tools to promote their brands.
Depending on the program format, students may have the opportunity to work on:
- A business website
- Product or service descriptions
- Business photography
- Online branding
- Social media marketing concepts
- Professional digital profiles
Build Confidence
One of the most important parts of the SVA Experience is helping students discover what they are capable of.
Throughout the program, students are encouraged to speak up, make decisions, solve problems, collaborate, and present their ideas.
They leave with more than business knowledge — they leave with greater confidence in themselves.

The Final Experience
The program concludes with an opportunity for students to celebrate what they have created.
Students may present their business ideas, brands, products, websites, or pitches during a Demo Day or Showcase for families, community partners, and invited guests.
This gives students the opportunity to experience what it feels like to present their work with confidence and pride.
Celebrate the Achievement
Students who successfully complete the program receive a Strahan Venture Academy Certificate of Completion recognizing their participation and achievement.
More importantly, they leave knowing:
